Rohan's Chickpea Curry Meal Kit (Vegan)


This Kit contains

1 jar of Rohan's Saag Curry Sauce(350g) contains CELERY

1 Tin of Chickpeas(400g)

320g Long Grain Rice

1 white onion

1 tub of Fried Onions


Rohan’s Chickpea Curry Sauce

Super simple recipe with lots of vegie goodness 

Serves 3-4 (2 adults and 2 children)(or 3 adults)

Equipment - 1 pot, 1 pan


  • Put the rice in a pot along with 800ml with water and put on to boil.
  • Roughly chop the onion and fry in the pan with a little oil for 30 seconds, add the strained chickpeas and fry for a further minute. Then add the sauce and bring up to heat and simmer until you are ready to serve.
  • Once the water has boiled down to the level of the rice, turn off the heat and put the lid on and allow to sit for 5 minutes. Strain off any excess water and divide out among the plates.
  • Pour the chickpea mix on top and sprinkle the fried onions equally around. (well maybe you should get a few extra seeing as you did all the work!)
